💨 Abstract
According to journalist Nicolás Machuca, Argentina's pension system is facing a severe structural crisis. While the government focuses on fiscal austerity, retirees are losing purchasing power. June's pension will include inflation adjustments, a frozen bonus, and half an annual bonus, providing temporary relief. Machuca warns that nine out of ten seniors are poor, and the system has consistently failed retirees since 2001.
