💨 Abstract
The International Atomic Energy Agency reported that Iran has increased its stockpile of enriched uranium to levels close to those needed for weapon production. As of May 17, 2025, Iran has accumulated 408.6 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60%. This amounts to a 50% increase since the last report in February. The report expressed deep concern, noting that Iran is the only non-nuclear state producing such material.
