💨 Abstract
In June 2025, Mexican voters will elect justices for the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) for the first time, with 63 candidates (including one who withdrew) after reforms reduced the court's size from 11 to 9 justices. The new term length is 12 years, and the minimum age for candidates has been eliminated.
