💨 Abstract

An administrative order by the Trump government to ban foreign student enrollments has caused panic among international students at Harvard. The ban, temporarily halted by a federal judge, threatens the visas and futures of around 6,793 students. Harvard argues that the move is retaliation for resisting political demands, but students from countries like Pakistan, Austria, New Zealand, Russia, and Sweden express fear and uncertainty about their future. Many face severe consequences, including being unable to return home.
