💨 Abstract
Donald Trump announced a planned alliance between U.S. Steel and Nippon Steel, aiming to bring $14 billion in investments and create 70,000 jobs in the U.S. The alliance, which Trump will discuss at a rally in Pittsburgh, is designed to keep U.S. Steel under American control. Despite opposition from both political sides and the USW union, Trump supports the deal, which includes a $4 billion new steel plant in the U.S.
