💨 Abstract
A heat wave is expected to hit the D.C. area this weekend with temperatures around 100°F. Meanwhile, tropical storm Erick caused fatalities and damage in Mexico. In Guerrero, a baby died after being swept away by a river, and in Oaxaca, a man was electrocuted. The storm, which hit as a Category 3 hurricane, displaced nearly 190 people who have since returned home.
