💨 Abstract
Mexican journalist Salomón "Shalom" Ordoñez Miranda was killed in a shooting in Puebla. He was the administrator of Shalom Cuetzalan Producciones, a local news outlet. His death marks the seventh journalist murdered in Mexico this year. The Puebla government and the governor have expressed condolences and committed to investigating the crime. The UNESCO has urged Mexican authorities to enhance journalist protection, with six other local journalists killed this year.
