💨 Abstract
Russia's Energy Minister, Sergey Tsivilyov, announced that Russia is ready to supply natural gas to Mexico and share technologies for oil production and refining. Tsivilyov made the remarks at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, emphasizing Russia's capability to manage the entire fuel and energy sector chain. Meanwhile, Mexico currently imports over 70% of its natural gas from the U.S., with trade tensions adding uncertainty to the sector. Mexican authorities have not yet responded to requests for comment.
