đź’¨ Abstract
Nearly 60 million American adults experienced mental illness in the past year, but many challenges go untreated due to costs and time consumption. Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) offer free, short-term therapy sessions, benefiting around 71 million workers and their families. However, fewer than 10% utilize these services due to stigma and lack of awareness. Access to EAPs improves life satisfaction, work productivity, and reduces anxiety and depression.
