đź’¨ Abstract
The article discusses the "grey rock method," a technique for dealing with narcissistic or toxic individuals. This method involves remaining emotionally unresponsive to provocations, effectively becoming as uninteresting as a grey rock. The technique combines elements from cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral extinction, and emotional regulation. It aims to disempower the emotional abuser by refusing to engage, thereby relieving the victim's anxiety and giving them control.
