💨 Abstract
In Florida, about 70 members of the National Guard are providing security for a new immigrant detention center in the Everglades, dubbed "Alligator Alcatraz." This facility is designed for processing and deporting undocumented immigrants. Additionally, over 4,200 Texas National Guard personnel are supporting "Operation Lone Star," Governor Greg Abbott's border security initiative.
