💨 Abstract
Felix Baumgartner, the Austrian skydiver and BASE jumper, died on July 17, 2025, at 56, while paragliding in Italy. Known for his record-breaking stratospheric jump in 2012, Baumgartner left an indelible mark on extreme sports. He began skydiving at 16 and collaborated with Red Bull, setting 14 world records.
