On July 14, 2025, Syrian forces invaded a Druze stronghold in southern Syria, rekindling fears of attacks on minorities and triggering new Israeli strikes. The assault follows a weekend battle between Druze forces and Bedouin tribes in Suwayda, leaving 30 dead.
