💨 Abstract
immigration authorities have denied reports that they detained or deported Luis Leon, an 82-year-old Chilean man living in the country on a green card. The Morning Call reported that Leon was handcuffed in a Philadelphia immigration office in June and ended up in Guatemala, suffering from pneumonia. The family accounts that the Morning Call relied on stated that Leon won asylum in 1987, however, the Department of Homeland Security said he legally entered the U.S.
