💨 Abstract
The average rate on a 30-year U.S. mortgage fell to 6.63%, the lowest in four months, offering relief to homebuyers facing high financing costs. The 15-year fixed-rate mortgage also saw a decline to 5.75%. High rates since early 2022 have sluggish housing sales, with last year seeing near 30-year lows. Rates have hovered near 7.04%
