💨 Abstract

Brazilian President Lula commented on the strained relations with the U.S. under President Trump. He ruled out direct talks for fear of humiliation and denied plans for reciprocal tariffs, despite facing a 50% tariff on exports. Relating to the ongoing legal confrontation Brasi has with its ex-president Bolsonaro, he criticized Trump's involvement. Lula vowed to focus on internal economic measures and seek support from BRICS nations.
