💨 Abstract
Millions of U.S. adults struggle with poor sleep quality, leading to various health issues. Sleep aids like melatonin and magnesium are popular, but their effectiveness varies. Melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep-wake cycles, is best for jet lag and shift work disorders. It helps reset the circadian clock. Magnesium, an essential mineral, promotes relaxation and may help with insomnia. However, neither is a one-size-fits-all solution.
