💨 Abstract
On August 13, 2025, the U.S. government released a list of 26 alleged members of criminal organizations, mostly from drug cartels, extradited from Mexico. The move was made in compliance with Mexico's National Security Law at the request of the U.S. Department of Justice, which assured no death penalty would be sought. Most face up to life imprisonment.
