Faith Hamilton-Trent, the eldest of five siblings, took on the primary role of caregiving for her parents with Alzheimer’s, facing “Eldest Daughter Syndrome,” where the oldest daughter is expected to handle caregiving responsibilities. After moving her parents to St. Simons Island, Georgia, Hamilton-Trent faced numerous challenges, including the physical strain and emotional toll. She eventually found suitable care for her father at Addington Place of Brunswick, Georgia.
