đź’¨ Abstract
Severe rainstorms struck the East Coast, causing widespread flooding from Philadelphia to New York City. Major roads and train stations were flooded, leading to evacuations and traffic disruptions. Flights were delayed, and states of emergency were declared in New Jersey and New York City. The storms prompted rescuers to save motorists trapped in highways and subway passengers from flooded tracks, while authorities urged residents to avoid roads and relocate from basement apartments.
