💨 Abstract
The Trump administration has withdrawn its attempt to have the DEA leader take over as the emergency head of DC police. This reversal came after a legal challenge from DC's Attorney General and a subsequent court hearing. The DC police chief will retain control of the department. Additionally, the Education Department threatened to revoke federal funding from five Northern Virginia school systems that refused to comply with its anti-trans policy resolution.
