đź’¨ Abstract
Shannon Sharpe, former NFL tight end and broadcaster, will not return to ESPN. The decision follows a lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault, which he denied. Sharpe, 57, last appeared on ESPN in April and hoped to return for the NFL season. ESPN chose to part ways with him. He retired as the NFL's all-time leading tight end in receiving categories and has been active in TV and social media post-retirement.
