New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields returned to practice four days after dislocating a toe, participating in limited 11-on-11 drills. Coach Aaron Glenn was pleased with Fields' performance, noting he made some good throws. Fields had dislocated his toe on Thursday, but subsequent tests revealed it was less severe. Rookie center Gus Hartwig suffered a knee injury during practice. Byron Cowart, who believes he is now part of a star-studded defensive line.
