💨 Abstract
In his comeback game, J.J. McCarthy, the Minnesota Vikings' rookie quarterback, led a scoring drive against the Houston Texans, completing 4 of 7 passes for 30 yards and a key first down on fourth down. This game occurred almost a year after his injury in the preseason opener of 2024, from which he tore his meniscus. After McCarthy's performance, he was replaced by backup quarterback Sam Howell.
