💨 Abstract
Lionel Taylor, a legendary figure for the Denver Broncos in the 1960s, died at 89. He was the first NFL/AFL player to record 100 catches in a season and is believed to have been the first Black coordinator in NFL history. Taylor spent seven seasons with the Broncos, leading the AFL in receiving five times.
