💨 Abstract
Prince William County Supervisor Bob Weir passed away on July 20th from colon cancer. Weir, a Republican, served the Gainesville District since February 2023. The Board of County Supervisors commended his dedication, integrity, and community involvement. Weir was known for his critique of data centers and his focus on fiscal responsibility, education, and public safety. He had over two decades of public service, including roles on the Haymarket Town Council and Planning Commission.
