💨 Abstract
North Korea successfully righted a capsized destroyer and is repairing it ahead of a major party congress in late June. The 5,000-ton-class ship, described by leader Kim Jong Un as a significant asset, capsized during a launching ceremony in May. North Korean officials are conducting repairs and examinations on the ship, with multiple officials detained over the incident.
