💨 Abstract

On June 1, 2025, Poles voted in a crucial presidential runoff between Rafał Trzaskowski, a liberal pro-EU candidate, and Karol Nawrocki, a conservative supported the right-wing Law and Justice party. The election decides Poland's political direction and EU relations. Trzaskowski aims to restore judicial independence and ease abortion restrictions, while Nawrocki advocates traditional values and is skeptical of the EU.
