💨 Abstract
Russian drone and missile attacks killed one person in Odesa and injured eight across Odesa and Kyiv. These attacks lasted for hours, with Ukraine's air defenses struggling to intercept incoming threats, as drones targeted residential buildings. The attacks followed a large-scale Russian drone strike of almost 500 drones the previous night. Residents sought shelter in metro stations, describing fear and difficulty comforting children. Kyiv reported fires in several districts from falling debris.
