💨 Abstract
In eastern Ukraine, the war has evolved to make medical evacuations increasingly challenging and dangerous due to the widespread use of FPV drones. These drones have turned areas up to 20 kilometers from the front line into kill zones, complicating the transport of wounded soldiers and significantly increasing mortality rates. Medics now emphasize self-aid and self-evacuation, with stabilization points forced to relocate frequently due to the threat of drones.
