💨 Abstract
Belarus' President Alexander Lukashenko announced that Russia has deployed its latest nuclear-capable Oreshnik missile system to Belarus. This move occurs as peace talks to end the Ukraine war are at a critical stage. The Oreshnik, an intermediate-range ballistic missile, is now in combat duty. Russian President Vladimir Putin previously stated that the missile system would be operational this month.
