💨 Abstract
Two meteor showers, the Southern Delta Aquariids and the Alpha Capricornids, will peak simultaneously on the morning of July 30. With minimal moonlight interference, up to a dozen meteors per hour from each shower will be visible in dark skies. The showers stem from debris left by comets 96P/Machholz and 169P/NEAT respectively, and will be visible through August 12.
