💨 Abstract
Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Evan Phillips will undergo Tommy John surgery next week, ending his season. The 30-year-old right-hander has been dealing with forearm discomfort for the past three weeks and had previously been on the injured list for a partially torn rotator cuff. Phillips had a strong 2024 season with a 2.28 ERA in 194 games since joining the Dodgers. The Dodgers' pitching staff has faced numerous injuries this season.
