The New York Yankees exploded for a 10-run fifth inning against the Colorado Rockies on Saturday. The inning started with the game tied 1-1 and concluded with 14 batters facing pitches, seven hits, three walks, and a game-trying error. Rear-hitting offense, the Yankees added doubles from Austin Wells, Trent Grisham and Oswaldo Peraza, and singles from Paul Goldschmidt and Anthony Volpe.
