💨 Abstract
In the Eastern Conference finals, the Carolina Hurricanes changed goalies for Game 3, starting Pyotr Kochetkov. The switch comes after Frederik Andersen gave up nine goals in the first two games. Coach Rod Brind'Amour defended Andersen, noting that the goals were due to strong shots or plays by the Panthers. Kochetkov, who has been with Carolina for two seasons, has a 2.48 goals-against average and .903 save percentage.
