The Texas Rangers defeated the Colorado Rockies 4-1 on Tuesday night. Josh Jung hit two home runs for Texas, while Jack Leiter pitched six strong innings, allowing just one run. The Rangers improved to 22-21, moving above .500 for the first time since April. Colorado, under interim manager Warren Schaeffer, dropped to 7-35, the worst record in the divisional era through 42 games.
