Oklahoma defeated Nebraska 7-4 in the Chapal Hill Regional on Friday. Malachi Witherspoon pitched six scoreless innings for Oklahoma, striking out nine. Oklahoma took an early lead with home runs from Drew Dickerson and Easton Carmichael, and added key hits from Trey Gambill and Kyle Branch. Nebraska scored four runs in the eighth, but it was too little, too late. Oklahoma will face North Carolina next, while Nebraska plays a loser-out game against Holy Cross.
