💨 Abstract

On June 1, 2025, a ban on transgender women playing in women's soccer teams took effect in England, sparked by a UK Supreme Court ruling. In response, the Goal Diggers Football Club, a trans-inclusive women’s team in London, held the "Let The Dolls Play Tournament” in Islington. Participants, including transgender women and allies, emphasized community and solidarity despite the ruling, which has been widely criticized by trans-rights groups.
