During a Red Sox vs Mets game on May 20, 2025, Red Sox pitcher Walker Buehler was ejected in the third inning after arguing with umpire Mike Estabrook over a called ball. Manager Alex Cora joined the argument, shouting at Estabrook and later making contact with first base umpire Laz Diaz, before being cheered as he went to the clubhouse.
