Casper van Uden secured a significant career victory by winning the fourth stage of the Giro d'Italia. Mads Pedersen retained the race leader's pink jersey. The stage was a 189-kilometer route from Alberobello to Lecce. Pedersen remains ahead of Primoz Roglic and Mathias Vacek. Tomorrow's stage concludes in Matera, ending in a 151-kilometer run from Ceglie Messapica.
