💨 Abstract

Victoria Carl, a German cross-country skier, tested positive for the banned substance clenbuterol during the Military World Games. The 29-year-old skier received the wrong cough syrup, containing clenbuterol, from a German army doctor. Both the German Skate-Isation and the German Army maintain that this was a mistake and there was no intentional deception. Germany’s National Anti-Doping Agency is investigating, and both parties are hopeful for Carl's acquittal."
