Cleveland Guardians shortstop Gabriel Arias was injured during a game against the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday. Arias, who was fielding a grounder, rolled his ankle and had to be carted off the field. His status will be determined after an examination. Arias, a 25-year-old Venezuelan, is batting .231 with six homers and 31 RBIs in his first full season as a starter.
