Fran Kirby, a 31-year-old midfielder who was part of England's European Championship-winning team, has retired from international soccer. She played 77 games and scored 19 goals for England, notably helping the team win Euro 2022. Kirby decided to retire after learning she would not be part of the team's title defense in Switzerland.
