💨 Abstract
NASCAR will hold its first international Cup Series race of the modern era in Mexico City, aiming to attract new fans in a highly populated market. The event, scheduled for Sunday, marks the third time in 77 years that the Cup Series will run a championship points-paying event outside the U.S. Daniel Suárez, a Mexican-native driver, will lead the event, which includes the Xfinity Series and the NASCAR Mexico Series.
