💨 Abstract
The NBA continues discussions to launch a new league in Europe, which could take a couple of years, said Commissioner Adam Silver. The plans, jointly announced with FIBA in March, aim to tap into the huge basketball fan base in Europe. Talks involve the existing EuroLeague and potential cities like London and Rome. A partnership with current European leagues is preferred. The NBA board will discuss next steps in July, with a possible announcement around the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
