San Diego Padres relief pitcher Robert Suarez was suspended for three games and fined for intentionally throwing at Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani. The incident occurred during the ninth inning of a game on Thursday, resulting in Ohtani being hit on his pitching shoulder. Both the Padres and Dodgers managers, Mike Shildt and Dave Roberts, received one-game suspensions and fines.
