💨 Abstract
Shohei Ohtani, playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers, threw his fastest pitch of the career at 101.7 mph during a game against the Kansas City Royals. This was his third mound start of the season, where he pitched two efficient innings, allowing one hit and one walk. Ohtani, a three-time MVP, is easing back into pitching after recovering from Tommy John surgery.
