💨 Abstract
The Formula 1 circuit in Kyalami, South Africa, has been approved for upgrades to meet the required Grade 1 status for hosting an F1 race. The circuit's owner, Toby Venter, expressed readiness for the return of F1 to Africa. The upgrades must be completed within three years, and selected works will begin once Kyalami is confirmed as an F1 host. Additionally, Rwanda and Morocco are also trying to bring F1 back to the continent.
