Two-time Gold Glove shortstop Nick Ahmed announced his retirement, concluding a 15-year professional career and 10 seasons in the major leagues. The 35-year-old Ahmed hit .233 with 72 home runs and 339 RBIs in 964 games. He played for the Arizona Diamondbacks, San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego, and Texas.
