💨 Abstract
The Houston Astros have placed left-handed pitcher Brandon Walter on the 15-day injured list due to elbow inflammation, making him the 18th player on the team's IL. Walter, who has a 3.35 ERA in nine starts this season, was effective in his last outing, limiting the Diamondbacks to one run. The Astros recalled right-handed reliever Nick Hernandez from Triple-A Sugar Land in a corresponding move.
